Permanent Role

The role involves working with a well-established and reputable construction company recruiting for an experienced Bid Writer on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that can offer a competitive salary, potential career opportunities, and a secure permanent contract.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who come from a concrete repairs, construction, or civil background.

Duties:

  • The primary objective is to pro-actively support the business development element of the business.
  • You will be expected to work individually and as part of the team, researching and understanding pre-qualification and tender requirements in respect of the submissions being made to ensure that they are accurate, fully compliant, and that deadlines are successfully met.
  • Identifying winning bid themes, strategies, and actions.
  • Standardising tender bid submissions and adhering to the tender process.
  • Providing support to the pre-construction team and producing overall tender submissions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technical teams.
  • Liaison with contract management teams to produce content.
  • PQQ/ITT reviews.
  • Liaise closely with Senior colleagues to meet overall objectives.
  • Completing the quality content of tender submissions.
  • Collaborating with pre-construction and construction teams when working on tenders.
  • Collating, compliance checking, and submitting full tender documents.
  • Ensure content and format of responses maintain brand consistency.
  • Support/cover other members of the bid team.
