We're recruiting for a Kitchen Porter in Dorking, Surrey to join a welcoming catering team at a prestigious private boarding school set in the heart of the stunning Surrey Hills. This is a rare opportunity to work in one of the most picturesque and enjoyable locations in the region, surrounded by beautiful countryside and alongside a calm, friendly, and supportive team.

The Kitchen Porter will be working in a modern, well equipped kitchen, you'll support the preparation and service of fresh meals for around 300 boarders, using high-quality locally sourced ingredients. Duties include pot wash, kitchen cleaning, stock and stores management, and helping maintain high standards throughout the kitchen.

The Role

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 7:00pm
  • Term time plus Summer School
  • Alternative hours and flexible working patterns may be available
  • Salary: £30,780 per annum
  • Meals on duty and uniform provided
  • Overtime available
