Experienced Groundworkers Required - Flood Defence Scheme - Littleborough (OL15)
We are currently looking for experienced Groundworkers to join a major Flood Defence Scheme in Littleborough (OL15). This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled operatives looking for ongoing work with long-term prospects for the right candidates.
Duties:
- Working as part of several site teams, you will be involved in a range of civil engineering activities, including:
- All aspects of drainage
- Earthworks
- General groundworks
- Supporting multiple gangs across the project
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid CSCS Card (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience in groundworks/civil engineering
- Two valid, recent work references
Desirable:
- CPCS or NPORS (CSCS-affiliated with the CSCS logo) tickets for any of the following:
- Forward Tipping Dumper
- Ride-on Roller
- Slinger/Signaller
Applicants holding one or more of the above plant tickets are encouraged to apply.
Site PPE (Mandatory):
- Hard Hat
- Steel Toe Cap Boots (Rigger boots are not permitted)
- Orange Hi-Vis Vest or Jacket
- Orange Hi-Vis Trousers
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 6:00pm (10 hours paid per day)
- Friday: 7:30am - 3:30pm (7.5 hours paid)
Total Paid Hours: 47.5 paid hours per week
