Rutherglen £35,000 - £40,000
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established, high performing, growing accountancy firm. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an Accounts Senior to their small, friendly team, known for its flexible working culture and supportive environment.
This role offers a high degree of flexibility, strong client exposure, and the opportunity to play a key role in a busy but well-run practice.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible working hours: start between 8:00am-10:00am, finish between 4:00pm-6:00pm
- Flexitime operated over a 4-week period

The Role
You will manage a varied client portfolio, working with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, and will be involved in:
- Preparing accounts from bookkeeping to trial balance and final accounts
- VAT returns and general bookkeeping
- Preparation of self-assessment and corporation tax returns (including capital allowances)
- Payroll support where required
- Acting as a key client contact, including attending client meetings
- Supporting the continued growth of the accounts and tax function
The role is hands-on and client-facing, with scope to take on more responsibility as the firm continues to grow.
About You
- Experience working in accountancy practice (qualification not required)
- Confident preparing accounts through to completion
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines
- Enjoys working closely with clients and as part of a small team
