The Role: We are looking for a Gateman to join a major energy infrastructure project in Beauly. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling access to the site and supporting site safety procedures. The role will also involve spraying vehicle tyres and operatives' boots with disinfectant solution as required. This is a supporting site role, working as part of the wider project team and reporting to the Chargehand or Site Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing site gates as required.
- Controlling access to and from the site.
- Supporting site management with general site access and safety procedures.
- Spraying vehicle tyres with disinfectant solution.
- Spraying operatives' boots with disinfectant solution.
- Following all site rules and Health & Safety procedures.
- Working in accordance with site QEHS requirements.
- Carrying out other duties within your competence as directed by site management.
- Working effectively as part of a team and maintaining good communication with site personnel.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on a construction, utilities, energy or similar site is preferred.
- Previous experience within an Electricity Supply Industry environment would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of site Health & Safety requirements.
- Reliable and proactive approach to work.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Manual Handling.
- Working at Height.
- Fire Safety Awareness.
- NG Person / BESC would be advantageous.

Pay Rates - LTD / Umbrella:
- First 37 hours: £25.00 per hour
- After 37 hours / first 4 hours Saturday: £26.50 per hour
- After 4 hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £28.89 per hour
Additional Information: One position available. 50 hours per week. 10-hour working days. Contract running from 17/08/2026 to 30/10/2026. Outside IR35 for LTD. Weekly timesheets. Site: Beauly, IV4 7BG.
