We're recruiting for two Residential Conveyancing Paralegals to join a thriving Residential Conveyancing team based in Farnham. The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting experienced fee earners throughout the conveyancing process, helping transactions progress smoothly while delivering an exceptional level of client service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting fee earners with a busy residential conveyancing caseload.
- Managing enquiries from clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
- Opening new files and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Preparing contract packs and legal documentation.
- Handling post-exchange administration.
- Preparing Certificates of Title (COTs).
- Carrying out final searches.
- Submitting SDLT returns and AP1 applications.
- Dealing with Land Registry requisitions.
- Audio and copy typing.
- Diary management and general legal administration.
- Providing regular updates to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
About You
You'll be an organised and proactive Residential Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant with a genuine passion for property law and delivering outstanding client care.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience within Residential Conveyancing as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
- A solid understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to post-completion.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good IT skills and experience using legal case management systems.
- Experience with Tikit Partner for Windows would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach to confidential information.
