Facilities Administrator Penicuik-based role | fully based on-site Full Time hours | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm Ongoing Temp role for a minimum of 4 weeks | likely to go longer Pay rate up to £14.50 per hour + holiday pay (depending on experience) Search Consultancy are delighted to be partnered exclusively with a leading business in Midlothian to recruit this role on an ongoing Temp basis during a period of transition for the company. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager for the business and will be responsible for providing comprehensive Facilities & Property Administration support across the business. Duties involved in this role will include: * Dealing with all contractors coming to site, signing them in, directing them to offices & ensuring work is carried out correctly * Ensuring that Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are in place & have been checked * Organising keys & access for contractors * Carrying out floor-walks to check for issues * Following up on issue reports, taking photos of issues & reporting in an appropriate manner * Liaising with the Senior FM to coordinate and facilitate contractors * Taking meter readings when required * Carrying out a variety of other Facilities & Admin duties as & when required In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include: * Previous experience within Facilities or Property Administration – this experience is ESSENTIAL * Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal * Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to pivot your focus depending on issues raised * Solid IT Skills If this is the role for you, apply now!
