We are seeking an experienced Executry Paralegal to join a well-established private client law firm in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for a senior-level candidate with a strong background in executry administration, looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
As a Senior Executry Paralegal, you will independently manage a caseload of executry files from initial client meetings to conclusion. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Administering both testate and intestate executries.
- Preparing inheritance tax calculations and executry accounts.
- Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the process.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
- A strong background in executry administration.
- A relevant formal qualification, ideally recognised by the Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal scheme.
- At least five years’ experience in executries.
- In-depth knowledge of inheritance tax exemptions and reliefs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
