We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking construction specialist to assist them in hiring an Agent for their growing team in the East of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong project pipeline and a reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and civil engineering works. As the Sub-Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion
- Assisting with the management of site teams, subcontractors, and resources
- Ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, and within budget
- Contributing to programme planning and progress reporting
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Assisting with commercial aspects including cost control and variations
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Site Agent or Site Management role within civil engineering
- Strong understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of various contract types (E.g. NEC, JCT)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support senior management
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
