Central Edinburgh based | onsite role Short-term Reception cover | 14th to 21st August inclusive | very likely to lead to more work 8:00am to 2:00pm | Monday to Friday | 6 hours per day Pay rate of £13.00 per hour + holiday pay.

Search Consultancy are currently working with one of our Nationwide clients who are looking to bring in an experienced Receptionist to provide cover for the above week. This will be a relatively basic Front of House & Administrator role, but will likely lead to more work for the successful candidate from not only this client, but other clients in the area.

Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Working on the front-desk Reception, providing excellent service to all visitors & staff entering the office
  • Handling incoming calls, dealing with basic queries when they come in & transferring calls to the appropriate party
  • Dealing with incoming & outgoing mail, parcels & couriers
  • Ensuring that the Reception area is maintained & kept clean & tidy at all times
  • Carrying out general administration duties for other departments when required
  • Various other ad hoc Admin as required & directed

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous experience in a Reception / Front of House role within a Corporate setting - this experience is essential!
  • Solid Administration experience as this role will be heavily Administration based
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
