Search consultancy are delighted to be supporting a growing third sector organisation as they look to seek for a new Accounts Assistant to join their close knitted team.

Role Overview

  • Position: Accounts Assistant
  • Salary: £28,287 per annum
  • Location: Home-based (with occasional in-person working in Edinburgh)
  • Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
  • Hours: Very flexible (any times between 8am-8pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase ledger and banking transactions
  • Supporting weekly payment runs (grants, suppliers, expenses)
  • Importing and reconciling financial data from Salesforce
  • Assisting with reconciliations, VAT preparation, and management accounts
  • Supporting system improvements and finance process optimisation

Ideal Background

  • Experience in a Finance or Accounts Assistant role
  • AAT / HNC level accounting knowledge (or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel and finance systems experience
  • Proactive, organised, and customer-focused approach
