We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment based in East Kilbride. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with previous warehouse and forklift experience who is looking to secure a permanent role with a well-established company.
The Role:
- Working as part of the warehouse and stores team, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and organisation of materials and products while supporting the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving materials and stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Picking, packing, and organising stock accurately
- Carrying out routine forklift checks and reporting any faults or issues
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures and company guidelines
- Supporting general warehouse and stores duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certification
- Previous warehouse, stores, or manufacturing experience
- Good understanding of health & safety within a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
