Luxury Wellness Retreat Upminster - Near Upminster, Essex (Please note: this location is not accessible by public transport. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.)

Our client, an award-winning luxury wellness retreat based near Upminster, Essex, is looking to appoint a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join their growing team on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of the retreat, ensuring the highest standards of guest service are maintained across all departments. You will lead and support the wider team, promote a positive service culture, and act as the main point of contact during your shift. The successful candidate will also support the Front of House team with reservations and help oversee the complete guest journey, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and memorable experience from arrival through to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the retreat across multiple departments.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team to ensure high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally.
