A large Civil Engineering Contractor are actively looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be based from their Fife office and oversee all Commercial aspects of their Scottish operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing QS who has a strong Civil Engineering background to join a growing team as they embark on a new chapter in the business history. With a strong base down in England they are now expanding in Scotland, with a strong project pipeline including Energy, Roads, Water and Heavy Civils they require a seasoned Commercial head to steer the ship up north. Candidates will ideally have 7 years of experience within Civil Engineering projects with an excellent exposure to NEC 3 and 4 contracts. You will also be comfortable working independently initially before being responsible for growing the team moving forward. This is ideal for someone who has perhaps reached a ceiling in their current role and is looking for that step towards Commercial Management. Salary between Β£60-75k plus car or car allowance, pension, bonus and other benefits.
