Search are supporting the recruitment of a Bookkeeper to join our client's growing team in Dunfermline. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, expanding company that values its people and offers excellent development opportunities. Within the role, you'll deliver high-quality bookkeeping services, handle processing of invoices, VAT returns, reconciliations, and month-end journals, while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices, expenses and financial transactions
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Bank and control account reconciliations
- Wages and other month-end journals
- Respond promptly to queries by phone and email
- Maintain filing and document management systems
Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
- Proven ability to deliver tasks to deadlines and within budget
- Previous experience in high-volume data processing
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accountancy software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised, methodical approach and professional attitude
