We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Pre-Construction Manager for their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping projects from the earliest stages, working closely with clients, estimators, and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes. You will be instrumental in coordinating bids, managing pre-construction activities, and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.
As the Pre-Construction Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing the pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to contract award
- Coordinating tender submissions, ensuring they are competitive, accurate, and high quality
- Working closely with estimating, design, and operational teams to develop robust project solutions
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Supporting handover to delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition into construction
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a Pre-Construction, Bid Management, or Estimating role within construction or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of tendering processes and procurement routes
