About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Administrator to join a busy Property Services team based in Angus. This temporary role is initially for 3 months, with a likely review and potential extension based on business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident handling sensitive customer conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact former tenants regarding outstanding rent arrears.
- Produce and issue arrears and debt recovery correspondence.
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone enquiries professionally and sensitively.
- Take rent payments securely over the phone.
- Update and maintain accurate records on internal systems.
- Process payments and complete associated administrative tasks.
- Manage electronic and paper-based documentation.
- Liaise with internal teams, providing updates and ensuring actions are completed.
- Escalate complex cases where appropriate.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider Property Services team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administration, customer service, business support, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in handling telephone conversations and discussing outstanding payments professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and internal systems/databases.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
