Joiner Required - Shavington, Crewe

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner to join one of the UK's largest and most reputable main contractors on a high-profile construction project based in Shavington, Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established company on a busy and fast-paced site.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (with potential for overtime depending on site requirements)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out general joinery duties across site
  • Installing, repairing and maintaining timber structures and fixtures
  • Assisting with first and second fix joinery works as required
  • Reading and working from drawings and specifications
  • Completing joinery works safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Measuring, cutting and fitting timber and other materials
  • Working alongside other skilled trades and site teams
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following all site health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card or relevant site qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Joiner on a construction site
  • Proven experience in first and/or second fix joinery
  • Ability to read and work from drawings
  • Strong work ethic and good reliability
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required
  • Own tools and full PPE
  • Must be able to provide a recent and checkable work reference
