Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Goole. Ideally, the suitable candidate will be an experienced class 1 tipper driver; however, training will be given for the right candidate. You must have held your class 1 licence for at least 12 months.

Pay rates:

  • PAYE: £16.50/hr days
  • PAYE (inc. holiday pay): £17.50/hr days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
  • Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
  • At least 12 months experience in general haulage & able to strap.
  • A clean driving record with no major endorsements (no more than 6 points).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
