EXPERIENCED CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS REQUIRED FOR PEAK CONTRACT Location: Skelmersdale Our client, based in Skelmersdale, is looking for experienced class 1 drivers for their peak contract. Every year they work on behalf of the UKs biggest mail distributor working in partnership to move trailers around the UK. The working patterns are flexible and we welcome full time and part time drivers. Start times and shift patterns are planned a week in advance and we can accommodate very early starts all the way through to night drivers. THE JOB This job requires the driver to pass a short induction / driving assessment. The job involves trunking trailers around key customer hub depots around the UK. Average shift length is approx 10-12 hours per day Shift Rates (Without Holiday Pay Included) Days – £165 per shift Nights – £175 per shift Saturday – £210 per shift Sunday – £220 per shift Shift Rates (With Holiday Pay Included) Days – £184 per shift Nights – £196 per shift Saturday – £235 per shift Sunday – £246 per shift WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A DRIVER: We are looking for committed drivers looking for ongoing work.
