The predicted salary is between 13 - 15 £ per hour.

Location: Glasgow

Pay: £13.67 to £15.50 per hour dependant on experience plus 10.5% Shift Allowance

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 - 22:00, Friday 14:00 - 18:00

We are hiring an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join a busy and dynamic factory team in Glasgow. If you have great communication skills, understand the importance of developing your team, take pride in ensuring your shift maintains the highest level of Health & Safety and Production Quality targets whilst ensuring on time delivery to the end customer - then this could be the role for you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a Factory Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for a team of operators building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland.
  • Your daily duties will include:
    • Providing the team with clear direction to ensure daily production targets achieved to the highest standards.
    • Motivating your team to work to required standards and achieve results.
    • Identify and organise resource required to accomplish all tasks across shift.
    • Provide colleagues with development opportunities by identifying training needs and implementing coaching to assist with the developmental journey.
    • Recruit, induct, training and development of all operators to optimise their performance and ability to deliver on objectives.
    • Review, assess and positively manage timekeeping and attendance within the team.
    • Act as a role model and implement good safety practices through behaviours.
    • Ensure best practices are shared and replicated across all areas to improve overall production performance and quality.
    • Take responsibility for production output by ensuring material availability at required times through excellent liaison with relevant departments.
