Join a fast-paced, high-performing team as a Finance Assistant with a leading business. This is a busy, high-volume role where accuracy and strong time management are essential. You'll support the finance tasks; knowledge of VAT and CIS is a real advantage.

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00, Friday: 08:00-16:00 (39-hour week, 1-hour lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up new contracts, suppliers, subcontractors, and operatives in the COINS finance system
  • Managing weekly subcontractor payments and completing IR35 checks
  • Processing invoices, petty cash, and supplier credit applications
  • Preparing retention releases and supporting supplier payment runs
  • Handling credit control tasks, including inbox management and payment chasing when needed
  • Completing reconciliations - credit cards, CIS, petty cash, and other monthly checks
  • Supporting month-end processes and ensuring financial data is accurate and up to date
  • Carrying out VAT checks for proforma payments
  • Assisting with web expenses during holiday cover
  • Providing general admin support across the team to keep everything running efficiently
