We are currently working with a stunning hotel in South Devon and its respected and well-known Exec Chef who is looking for a talented and passionate Breakfast Chef from a fine dining and Rosette background to be part of a journey taking the hotel to 3 Rosettes over the next 3 to 4 years. The Breakfast Chef will have full creative freedom, working alongside the Exec Head and will allow you to express your skills and passion for cooking, ingredients and presentation. The Breakfast Chef will be situated within a modern kitchen with covers up to 28, and the Executive Chef's priority is keeping the kitchen a friendly and calm place with the Exec leading from the front. This opportunity gives the Breakfast Chef the chance to work with complete creative freedom around designing a new menu alongside the Exec Chef.
- Support the Exec Chef in leading the kitchen team and delegated tasks
- Deliver consistent, high-quality food across all service periods
- Assist with menu development and the plan to achieve 3 Rosette
- Take responsibility for stock ordering and monthly stock-takes
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
- Good level of tips
- Live in available
