An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operational Performance Manager to join a successful and growing West Yorkshire business.

This is a genuinely hands‑on role where you'll have the autonomy to transform how the business operates.

You'll be responsible for improving operational processes, implementing effective stock management, developing meaningful reporting, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

The Role

Reporting directly to the business owners, you'll take ownership of operational performance, ensuring processes are efficient, data‑driven and scalable as the business continues to grow.

You’ll play a key role in replacing reactive decision-making with structured processes, robust reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and improve operational processes across the business.
  • Design, implement and embed new ways of working.
  • Develop and manage an effective stock control and inventory process.
  • Build KPI dashboards and performance reporting to support business decisions.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor customer response times, supplier performance and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to deliver operational excellence.
  • Help create a first‑class customer experience through improved operational performance.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate real experience of improving operations within a growing business.

You’ll have

  • Proven experience in Operational Performance, Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement.
  • A track record of implementing process improvements that have delivered measurable results.
  • Experience managing stock control and inventory processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building KPI reporting and performance dashboards.
  • The ability to influence change and embed new ways of working.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and business owners.
