Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift
Location: Blantyre
Salary: £35,000 per annum, with scope for an increase
Hours: 6-day working week, Nightshift
Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader with strong leadership skills and a hands‑on approach? We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy client, leading the nightshift operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for leading and supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives, ensuring the daily picking operation runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, delegating and supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives
- Planning and overseeing the daily picking operation
- Managing operations across ambient, chilled and freezer departments
- Monitoring staff performance, productivity and accuracy
- Taking responsibility for staff training, development and performance management
- Taking a hands‑on approach to daily warehouse management
- Ensuring orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and health and safety
- Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently

What We’re Looking For
- Previous leadership experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate a team
- Experience planning and overseeing warehouse picking operations
- A practical, hands‑on approach to managing daily operations
- Flexibility to work a 6-day week and across different warehouse temperature‑controlled areas
