The Role
- Lead and develop the company's Health & Safety strategy across manufacturing and installation activities.
- Drive a positive, proactive safety culture throughout the business.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Provide expert guidance and support to operational teams and senior management.
- Manage audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Develop policies, procedures, training programmes and performance metrics.
- Maintain a visible presence across workshop, manufacturing and site‑based operations.
- Act as the focal point for all health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, construction or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Comfortable operating across both manufacturing and site environments.
- Confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Passionate about building a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
