We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join one of their high-performing restaurant teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their management career.
The Role
As Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the restaurant, supporting the General Manager in delivering operational excellence, driving team performance, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
You will be responsible for helping to lead, inspire and develop a large team within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, while maintaining exceptional standards across all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Drive team engagement, development, and succession planning.
- Ensure operational standards, compliance, and company procedures are consistently maintained.
- Monitor performance and help deliver key business objectives, including sales, labour, and profitability targets.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture aligned with the company's values.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant General Manager or senior management role within a premium hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- A hands-on management style and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent organisational and decision-making abilities.
- Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
- The confidence to lead from the front and hold teams accountable to high standards.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and people development.
