Domestic Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installer / EV Installer / Electrician

You will be responsible for installing and maintaining a network of EV charging points within a localised area, while representing the company in a professional manner. Customer engagement and service are just as important in this role as the technical skills required to complete installations. A strong focus on health and safety is also essential.

What we're looking for

  • Fully competent in completing electrical certificates using digital software
  • Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and a commitment to maintaining compliance
  • Ability to follow safe working procedures at all times
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong communication skills

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (preferred)
  • Experience installing and terminating SWA cable
  • BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition)
  • Minimum of 2 years' electrical experience within a domestic environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

  • Experience carrying out initial verification, inspection and testing on three‑phase installations
  • City & Guilds 2919 EV Charging qualification or equivalent
