We are seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our successful construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a top-tier housebuilding company renowned for delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of residential developments, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Site Manager in the effective management of new-build housing developments.
- Assist in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
- Monitor construction progress against programme targets.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety legislation and company policies.
- Conduct quality inspections and help maintain exceptional build standards.
- Assist with site documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Support customer care initiatives and help deliver an excellent homebuyer experience.
- Ensure materials, plant, and resources are efficiently managed.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised site environment.
- Previous experience within residential construction or housebuilding.
- Experience in a supervisory role such as Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.
- A proactive approach with a strong eye for detail and quality.
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).
