A large Utilities contractor are currently recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Glasgow. With a large presence overseas, they have now secured long term work within the Infrastructure, Energy and Civils sectors. This is a great time to join the team as they build a strong commercial team for the coming years. They have Substation, OHL, BESS and Civils related work across Scotland and into England.
You will be working closely with the Commercial Lead in the UK, assisting on the commercial management of current projects, providing commercial support for future work streams with a hand in both pre-con and post-con work.
They are looking for candidates with a couple of years post-qualified experience ideally within Infrastructure, experience in managing work packages and ideally a good grasp of contract management. This role is ideal for someone with a strong appetite to learn, progress and develop.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established international firm but be part of a small team as they build operations in Scotland. You will be given full guidance in various areas of the job and be exposed to a range of commercial situations.
