We are currently seeking multiple experienced Resident Engineers / Civil Site Engineers for a major National Grid 400kV substation project in Cilfynydd. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term National Grid infrastructure project working within a live transmission environment. Candidates must have previous National Grid substation experience and hold current NG Persons authorisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting out line and level using various surveying equipment
- Assisting with constructability reviews alongside the civil site team
- Raising Technical Queries (TQs)
- Acting as Document Controller for all civil drawings
- Assisting the site team with obtaining quotes and raising orders
- Completing and managing As Built drawings
- Supporting day-to-day site engineering activities on a live National Grid project
- Previous experience working on National Grid substation projects
- Current NG Persons authorisation
- Manual Handling certification
- Strong setting out experience using surveying equipment
- Knowledge of National Grid Technical Specifications (NGTS)
- Ability to manage civil drawing control and technical documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
