Electrician- New Build Apartments (Stoke-on-Trent) | Immediate Start Job type: Full-time Location: Stoke-on-Trent Start date: 28/07/2025 Salary: Β£25ph CIS/Umbrella We are seeking a skilled and qualified 18th Edition Electrician to carry out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations on new build apartment projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential construction sites and be confident in delivering high-quality electrical work in line with current regulations and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform 1st fix installations, including containment, cabling, and wiring to layout plans. Carry out 2nd fix installations, including sockets, switches, lighting, and final connections. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and schematics. Conduct fault finding and testing of electrical systems. Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Liaise with site managers, other trades, and contractors to coordinate tasks effectively. Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 18th Edition wiring regulations. Requirements: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification (essential). Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix work on new build residential projects. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (preferred). ECS Gold Card (desirable). Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Own tools and PPE.
