Social Work Team Manager – Looked After Children (Residential) Up to £55,000 | Central London I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join a highly regarded private organisation supporting looked after children and young people across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident manager with strong LAC experience who is looking to work for an established provider with a strong Ofsted track record and a genuine commitment to quality and staff development. About the Organisation My client is a well-established private provider with an excellent reputation in the sector. They operate: * Ofsted-registered children’s home (rated Good) * 18 supported accommodation services for young people aged 16–18 * Approximately 60 young people in total Their 16–18 supported accommodation service has achieved Outcome 1, reflecting their focus on positive outcomes and robust practice. The Role As Social Work Team Manager, you will: * Line manage 6–7 Residential Social Workers, each holding their own caseload * Provide regular, high-quality supervision and professional guidance * Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and outcomes for looked after children * Work closely with residential services, local authorities, and partner agencies * Support service development and quality assurance * Report directly into the Head of Service This is a hands-on role with regular travel to services to complete supervision and support staff.
