Our client is seeking a Pensions Business Development Manager to join their team. This role will oversee the effective management of a team/division, ensuring a professional and comprehensive trustee and administration service is provided to existing and prospective clients. You will be responsible for building a complex portfolio of current and new high-value, blue-chip clients, covering the spectrum of the business unit\’s service lines in pension plans, companies, and associated structures. Key Responsibilities Arrange and follow the new business onboarding process, including due diligence analysis. Manage the team/division effectively, ensuring performance is optimized, and incorporate insights into strategic planning, resources, procedures, and the annual business plan. Create and align the team/division\’s strategy with overall group objectives and KPIs. Oversee administration tasks such as billing, fee collection, debt management, and income targeting within the client portfolio. Arrange and maintain strong client relationships through meetings and engagement. Serve as the “Client Services Director” for appropriate client entities. Ensure compliance with corporate governance, legal, tax, and statutory requirements. Participate in internal business development meetings, identify and manage new business opportunities, and introduce prospects to the Group. Respond promptly to new business inquiries, accurately price and promote Group services. Attend client and introducer meetings, potentially involving travel outside the Isle of Man. Develop and retain existing client relationships, providing high-quality client care. Adhere to risk management and compliance procedures, including AML legislation. Oversee complex client structures, monitor risk exposure, and ensure responsibilities under review procedures are fulfilled. Stay informed about reporting obligations for unusual transactions and guide the team accordingly. As the team grows, ensure training, development, motivation, and monitoring of team members, ensuring adherence to obligations and competencies.
