Service Operation Centre (SOC) Support Technician
We are working on a role for our Client who is looking for a person who will work as part of a 24/7/365 team to ensure the effective Service Assurance of Core Networks and systems.
In addition, you will be supporting several key areas around the business including Customer Technology Services, Business Services and Network Services, among others.
- (This role is shift based, shift currently operates 7am-7pm and 7pm to 7am)
- Key Person Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with verbal and written.
- A strong desire to learn from those around you.
- A real team ethos, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Basic level knowledge of MS applications.
- Full and clean driving licence is essential as this role requires visits to other buildings, using vehicles.
- Excellent customer facing skills. Professional interaction with both internal and external customers is always expected.

- A can‑do and proactive approach to work. A team player is essential for this role.

Education / Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent - Grade A - B, must include English.
- May have started or obtained a recognised Telecoms qualification such as CCNA.
- 2 or more years working in a similar environment.
- Experience of ITIL Incident & Change Management.
- Have an ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Desired Criteria
- Proficient using Service Now Change & Incident Management or similar platform.
- Knowledge of the telecoms industry.
- A self‑motivated individual but also an excellent team player but with ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Excellent time management skills. Being punctual is some we expect from everyone.
- Ability to multitask. Each team member will have multiple tasks to deliver daily.
- Experience of Shift Working.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Police/Security Check.
