Search² is supporting a well-established Utilities and Infrastructure contractor in the appointment of a Freelance Health & Safety Consultant to provide additional support during a busy operational period. This is an immediate contract opportunity, offering flexibility for experienced Health & Safety professionals looking for anywhere between two and five days per week.
Working across utilities and telecoms projects, you'll play a key role in supporting operational teams, maintaining compliance and helping to drive positive Health & Safety standards across multiple live sites.

What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out Health & Safety inspections and audits across operational projects
- Providing practical Health & Safety support to operational teams
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Supporting incident and near miss investigations
- Monitoring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Producing clear reports and recommendations following site visits
- Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the business
- Working closely with operational management to identify opportunities for continual improvement
What You Will Need
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience within utilities, telecoms, civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations
- Experience carrying out audits and site inspections
- Ability to work independently whilst building strong relationships with operational teams
- A pragmatic approach to Health & Safety with excellent communication skills
