Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to join a respected specialist contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the South West and South Wales?

Search² is recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction business delivering complex reinforced concrete frame and groundwork projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple live projects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with operational teams and driving high standards of Health & Safety across busy construction environments.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing Health & Safety support across multiple live construction projects
  • Carrying out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
  • Coaching and influencing site management teams to promote a positive safety culture
  • Supporting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Reviewing RAMS and ensuring safe systems of work are implemented effectively
  • Working closely with operational leaders to drive continual improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and company standards

What you will need:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
  • Strong reinforced concrete frame (RC Frame) experience is essential
  • Groundworks experience would be advantageous
  • CSCS Card, or willingness to obtain one
  • The ability to work independently across multiple sites
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to positively influence operational teams
