Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple HV/MV switchgear and transformer projects from contract award to final handover and closeout.
- Coordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, energisation and project delivery with clients, consultants, OEMs and internal teams.
- Prepare project execution plans, milestone schedules and look‑ahead plans to ensure timely delivery.
- Track project progress across engineering, procurement, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Monitor project budget, cost‑to‑complete, variations, subcontractor claims and invoicing support documents.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, OEM suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead coordination meetings, provide progress updates and manage client expectations professionally.
- Maintain project risk registers, resolve project issues and escalate high‑impact matters with proposed solutions.
- Ensure all works comply with WSH requirements, Singapore safety regulations, client site rules and project quality standards.
- Coordinate cross‑functional handovers and activities with Sales, Logistics, Installation, Testing and Engineering teams.
- Ensure proper project close‑out, including as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties and final documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in electrical infrastructure projects, including 3–5 years in project management or project engineering.
- Experience in HV/MV switchgear or transformer projects involving 6.6kV, 22kV, 66kV, 230kV or 400kV systems.
- Experience with AIS/GIS switchgear, transformers, FAT/SAT coordination, testing and commissioning will be advantageous.
- Singapore project experience is strongly preferred; SPPG Pink Pass holder will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, progress reporting and documentation.
- Familiar with Singapore electrical safety practices, WSH requirements and site safety regulations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem‑solving and coordination skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification will be advantageous.
