Working Hours: 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM / 8.30AM to 5.30PM / 9AM to 6PM / 9.30AM to 6.30PM

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,000 Basic

Responsibilities

  • Support HV/MV switchgear and transformer projects from engineering, installation, testing, commissioning to handover.
  • Review and coordinate technical documents such as single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, protection drawings, datasheets and OEM submissions.
  • Coordinate technical interfaces between switchgear, protection relays, SCADA/RTU, auxiliary systems, clients, consultants and OEMs.
  • Review OEM documents to ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC standards and Singapore utility requirements.
  • Support procurement through technical evaluation, scope clarification, deviation review, spare parts, tools and warranty coordination.
  • Provide site technical support for switchgear/transformer installation, busbar works, cabling, control wiring, termination and troubleshooting.
  • Support preparation and implementation of method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality records and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate and support FAT, SAT, HV testing, commissioning and energisation readiness activities.
  • Prepare and close out project documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, inspection records, O&M manuals, spares lists and warranty documents.
  • Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, company safety policies and client site rules.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, templates, lessons learnt and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects involving HV/MV switchgear or transformers.
  • Experience with 22kV / 6.6kV / 66kV / 230kV / 400kV switchgear or transformer projects will be advantageous.
  • Experience supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities in Singapore.
  • SPPG Pink Pass holder is strongly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of HV/MV switchgear systems, technical drawings and OEM documentation.
  • Familiar with protection, SCADA/RTU and auxiliary system interfaces.
  • Knowledge of FAT/SAT, commissioning readiness, method statements, ITPs and handover documentation.
  • Familiar with Singapore electrical safety practices, codes and WSH requirements.
  • Strong coordination, communication and documentation skills.
