Our client is a successful and growing business looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Health and Safety Consultant in Swindon or Bristol covering the M4 corridor.
Responsibilities will include:
- Produce and agree a “scope of work” with each client, including specific work to be completed and timescales for completion.
- Produce risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, policies etc.
- Carry out accident investigations, analyse trends, produce reports and aid in the preparation of a legal defence if necessary.
- Aid in securing new and retaining existing health & safety business.
- Devise, develop and deliver Risk Management strategies for assigned clients and support colleagues.
- Devise and deliver training to colleagues and clients as agreed with the Training Manager.
- Deliver technical support to colleagues, clients, and others.
- Represent the Company and client when dealing with enforcing authorities, insurance companies etc.
- Conduct liability surveys and produce associated reports/risk recommendations.
Knowledge, Experience and qualifications required:
- Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent (if you do not have the relevant qualifications, you must be prepared to work towards these).
- Cert/Grad IOSH Minimum.
- Adaptable team member.
- Happy to travel to client sites.
