Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review health, safety and fire safety strategies, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, including the maintenance of the ‘golden thread’ of information for higher‑risk buildings (HRBs).

- Provide expert advice to property and facilities managers on all health, safety and fire safety matters, including management of high‑risk activities.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and investigations across the UK portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver engaging safety training to staff and contractors.

The Ideal Candidate
- A proven Health and Safety professional with experience gained within property management, facilities management, construction or a related sector.
- In‑depth, working knowledge of UK health & safety and fire safety legislation, specifically relating to building safety and higher‑risk residential buildings.
- An excellent communicator and influencer, able to build strong relationships with operational teams, clients and contractors.
- Pragmatic, solution‑focused and capable of managing a varied and demanding workload.
- Willing and able to travel regularly to sites across the UK.
- Professional membership (e.g., IOSH, Institute of Fire Engineers).
- Experience with digital compliance management systems.
- Knowledge of emergency planning, Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) and Martyn’s Law.
