Fire Risk Assessor – Home Based, Hybrid – London/SE

Responsibilities:

  • Based from home. Conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments on residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify potential fire hazards.
  • Evaluate existing fire safety measures and provide recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks.
  • Analyse and interpret relevant fire safety regulations, codes, and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risk levels, and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop fire safety strategies for new constructions or refurbishments.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on fire safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct fire safety training sessions for employees and other personnel.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements, research, and best practices in fire safety.

Requirements:

  • High level fire risk assessment or fire safety qualification (e.g., CFPA, Level 4 Diploma) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential fire hazards and evaluate safety measures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
