Search International are working with a respected and well-established, family run manufacturer of soft drinks. With over 30 years of successful trading and ambitious growth plans, they are looking for exceptional people to join their team and contribute to the future success of the business.

We are looking to recruit experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the engineering department with sound electrical, mechanical and maintenance engineering service to improve production operating efficiencies.

Main duties:
  • Respond to breakdowns and repair and maintain equipment across all production lines and process areas.
  • Responsible for PPM and maintaining correct records within appropriate timescales.
  • Undertaking plant strip downs, rebuilds and component repairs.
  • Assist with small project works as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • PLC troubleshooting or diagnostics, identifying or resolving issues with a programmable logic controller (PLC) system like Siemens, Allen Bradley.
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify faults, malfunctions, or abnormalities and implement appropriate repairs or maintenance procedures.
  • Develop knowledge of production processes and share with other engineers and operatives.
Candidate requirements:
  • Time served apprentice to NVQ 3 in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Excellent Health and Safety awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and comfortably manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Hard working, enthusiastic and eager to develop.
  • Good communication skills and happy to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Sound IT skills and a good standard of English and Maths.
Hours and Location:

You will work 40 hours per week on a 12 hour continental shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 off, 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off.

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience.
