The role of IFA Administrator

  • Gathering information β€” liaising with product providers, human resources, other third parties and the client to obtain detailed information about their personal finances
  • Research β€” carrying out in-depth analysis of many different types of financial contracts
  • Client servicing β€” responding promptly to client enquiries regarding their existing arrangements and any changes in circumstances
  • Updating system β€” keeping back office system up to date with client info and provider contacts
  • Preparing packs for meetings β€” completing application forms, fact find, producing accurate illustrations, understanding remuneration requirements
  • Business submission β€” putting business on system accurately with commission/fee expectation and preparing paperwork for scanning
  • Reviews β€” producing detailed review reports and portfolio valuations for client review meetings
