Search Consultancy are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer with 'own kit' for an immediate start in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

Duties will include:
- Interpreting Drawings: Read and check civil, structural, and architectural drawings
- Setting Out
- Mark lines, levels, and coordinates on the ground for structures, roads, or drainage
- Using Survey Gear
- Operate Total Stations, GNSS (GPS) rovers, and automatic levels
- Quality Control
- Check that built works match the design tolerances.As-Built Surveys
- Record final positions of installed pipes, foundations, or kerbs.Resolving Clashes
- Report drawing errors or site clashes to the project manager or senior engineer
Candidates will require:
- A valid CSCS card
- Own hand tools and marking kit
- A valid SSSTS and First Aid at Work would be advantageous
- Valid HNC or HND in Civil Engineering
- A degree in Civil Engineering would be advantageous
- A valid qualification in engineering surveying and Setting Out
- **OWN HEAVY SURVEYING kit/equipment
- The relative site experience
- Checkable references
