Overview
As Site Manager, you will oversee fire stopping, protection and remediation work on a Tesco supermarket project. You will coordinate on-site activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver the scope within a ~4-week window starting mid-September in Melton Mowbray. This role suits someone with retail fire-stopping experience who can lead subcontractors and liaise with on-site stakeholders. You’ll contribute to a focused, safety-driven refurbishment effort at a high-profile retail site.
Responsibilities
- supervise fire stopping/protection/remediation works on site
- coordinate on-site activities and subcontractors
- ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance
- liaise with Tesco and stakeholders on site operations
- monitor progress and report to project leads
- manage on-site documentation and certifications
Key requirements
- fire stopping/fire protection experience on supermarkets (ideally Tesco)
- SMSTS
- CSCS (Black or White)
- First Aid
- Fire Marshal
- Asbestos Awareness
