Production Operative
- Location: Runcorn
- Pay: £12.71-£14.74 per hour
- Shifts:
- Rotating: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
- Days: 7:30am-4:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Higher rate available on rotating shifts
The Role
- Working in a busy manufacturing environment producing PPE and garments
- Operating industrial sewing machines
- Working with zips, fabric and other materials
- Operating injection moulding machinery
- Feeding materials into machinery
- Carrying out repetitive sewing and production tasks
- Completing visual quality checks
- Trimming excess material where required
- Following health and safety procedures
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
About You
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable
- Experience using industrial sewing machines is desirable
- Experience working with zips, fabric or textiles is desirable
- Experience with injection moulding machinery is desirable
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive, hands-on work
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work rotating shifts if required
