Machine Operative
Location: Runcorn
Pay: £12.71-£14.74 per hour
Shifts: Days or rotating shifts available
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday
Search Recruitment are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing client based in Runcorn.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to someone who enjoys practical, repetitive work and being active throughout the working day.
The Role
- Operating machinery and equipment within the production area
- Carrying out repetitive manual production tasks
- Splitting and processing materials using hand tools and hammers
- Handling materials throughout the production process
- Working on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Carrying out manual lifting and movement of materials
- Completing quality checks on finished products
- Following production and health & safety procedures
- Keeping the working area clean and tidy
About You
- Previous manufacturing, production or manual work experience is beneficial
- Comfortable with repetitive and physically demanding work
- Happy working on your feet throughout the shift
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
- Practical and hands-on approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work days or rotating shifts depending on the position available
