We're recruiting for an experienced Deli Chef to join a brand-new corporate catering site within one of London's most prestigious corporate environments.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the kitchen team from the outset and play a key role in delivering a premium deli offering, specialising in high-end sandwiches, open sandwiches and beautifully presented grab-and-go food.
The ideal candidate will have previous deli experience and a genuine passion for producing exceptional food, with a strong eye for detail and presentation.
The Role
As Deli Chef, you'll be responsible for the preparation and presentation of a premium daily deli offer, working with high-quality, fresh ingredients to create food that looks as good as it tastes.
You'll be joining a new operation and will have the opportunity to help establish the standards, presentation and overall food offering from day one.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and producing high-end sandwiches and open sandwiches
- Creating visually appealing, premium deli products
- Working with fresh, seasonal and high-quality ingredients
- Ensuring exceptional presentation and attention to detail
- Maintaining consistent portioning, quality and presentation
- Supporting the development of new sandwich and deli concepts
- Preparing daily mise en place and ensuring the deli is fully stocked and ready for service
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation
- Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a smooth daily operation
- Supporting the launch and development of the brand-new site
- Helping establish and maintain consistently high standards across the deli offering
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience producing high-end sandwiches and/or open sandwiches
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation
- Passion for quality food and premium ingredients
- Creative approach to sandwich and deli preparation
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy service environment
- Consistent and reliable approach to food quality
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Experience within premium contract catering, hotels, restaurants or corporate hospitality would be advantageous
