Search Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with one of our Nationwide clients in the Charitable sector to recruit this role on a full-time Temporary basis.

This is a blended role between Customer Support & Administration - the client is seeking a candidate who is strong in both of these areas for this role!

Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Dealing with customers across a variety of enquiries, ensuring that you provide a friendly & professional experience in all of your interactions
  • Responding to incoming information requests & donations including contact by phone, email, correspondence & in person
  • Handling any complaints, ensuring these are escalated to the appropriate contact & dealt with to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Processing incoming cash, card & cheque donations through the company's donations system
  • Distribution of welcome packs and fundraising materials to new customers, as well "Thank You" letters to donors
  • Providing administrative support to the Fundraising team including new registrations & the associated administration for upcoming events
  • Assisting with the creation & management of JustGiving pages
  • Carrying out accurate data entry onto the company's internal systems
  • Various other ad hoc customer relations & administrative duties as directed

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous demonstrable experience across both Customer Service & Administration - experience in both is ESSENTIAL for this role as the split will be around 50/50 between the two areas
  • Prior experience working for a Charity in these areas would definitely be preferred although this is by no means essential
  • First class communication skills - both written & verbal
  • Solid IT skills including the use of MS Office (particularly Word, Excel & Outlook) and preferably some experience using a CRM system or customer database
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively - as this will be a very busy role!

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
